THE FIRST-PACK GUIDE

Send beats to artists.
See what gets played.

To send beats with listen tracking on BeatLoop, upload your tracks, put them in a pack, and create a separate link for each recipient. Paste that link into your own DM or email. Return to the pack to see opens, plays, and downloads for that link.

Start with one artist and a few beats that fit their sound.

01 / PREPARE

Build a pack for one recipient

Pick a small set that suits the artist. Put the strongest fit first and give the tracks clear titles so you can both refer to the same beat later.

  1. Upload your beats. Create your producer profile, then open Tracks and finish uploading your audio.
  2. Make a pack. Select the completed tracks and choose Add to pack, or open Create pack and use Add tracks in the builder.
  3. Choose who can open it. Use Anyone with the link for a link-only pack, or Public on your profile for a public pack. Link-only does not mean password-protected: someone with a forwarded link can open it.
  4. Check the recipient experience. Arrange the tracks, review the download settings, then use Open pack to check the page before sharing.

02 / SHARE

Create their link. Then send it.

In the pack builder, choose Send to…. Pick an Outreach artist or choose Someone new and enter a name or Instagram handle. Choose your sending channel and an optional follow-up reminder, then select Create their link.

Use Copy link or edit the suggested message and choose Copy message. Paste it into your own DM or email and send it there. With an Instagram handle, you can also use Copy & open Instagram DM.

Keep the message specific

Say why these beats fit and make the next step easy. Here is a sample to adapt:

Hey [name], I put together a few beats with the [sound] you asked for. You can play them here: [your recipient link]. If one fits, let me know the title.

Create a new recipient link for the next person, even when you send the same pack. The general pack link is useful for sharing the pack, but use Send to… for the recipient rows described below.

03 / LISTEN BACK

Read the activity before following up

Open the pack and look at Sent to. Each recipient row shows the activity recorded on their link.

Not opened
No opening activity has been recorded yet. That does not prove the person ignored your message.
Opened
The link recorded a visit. An open alone does not mean a beat was played.
Played
A track play was recorded on the link. It does not prove they listened to the whole beat.
Downloaded
A download was recorded. It does not establish a purchase, license, or placement.

Activity belongs to the link, not a verified listener identity. If someone forwards it, activity from other listeners can appear under the same recipient. Use it as context for a conversation, not proof of interest.

If you set a follow-up reminder, find it in Outreach under Today. Ask which beat fits or whether they need a different direction. You can turn off a recipient link from its row when you no longer want it accessible.

Before your first send

Does the artist need a BeatLoop account to listen?

No. An active recipient link opens the pack player without requiring the recipient to sign in.

Can I let them listen without downloading?

Yes. Review the pack's download settings before sharing. You can turn downloads off for a stream-only pack.

Should I send the same link to everyone?

Create a separate recipient link for each person when you want separate activity rows. Reusing one link mixes activity together.

What should I do first?

Choose one artist, finish uploading a few suitable beats, and create a pack. Your first send is complete when you have actually shared their link through your chosen channel.
